An honest shop. I took in a list of items I wanted looked at. He only charged me for what he did. He could have charged me for items that did not need to be fixed. I would have not known the difference. I am so grateful to have found this repair shop.

I am very pleased with my 60k service done at Vern's Auto. I was hesitant because I prefer the dealer. However one too many bad experiences helped me go in this direction thanks to my neighbor. They have helped me with the little extra things that I needed to take care of (wipers, pesky sticker tape, corrosion on battery) and I appreciated that. They did not have a solution in stock for my battery so he told me to come back and they will do it. This was not part of my service mind you. I asked him about recommendations others has told me (brake job, new tires) and received helpful information. I was picked up and dropped off so I saved money on a cab. The prices were very fare. This comes across as a mom and pop shop in the best ways. Their credentials speaks wonders. All the other reviews which I read all of them speaks wonders. I drove by to check them out and the customer who was there at the time has been going to Vern's for 20 years. He had mostly positive experiences. I received a itemized quote before doing the work whereas I had to practically harass the dealer plus other places for this. I have such anxiety with getting my car serviced but this place has my future auto needs and restored my faith in mechanics/auto shops. They actually care y'all. Big thanks to JD, his mom and I think his Dad is Vern. It is a family affair and I felt like I was part of the family.

Have used Verns multiple times. They reliably offer competitive prices and reasonable timelines for repair. They give you honest feedback on options for repairs along with their recommendations. They did free diagnostic work and found an easy at home solution to my problem. I have always appreciated their honesty.

Excellent service and as a "woman", I don' t get the feeling of being "ripped off". Vern's epitomizes the service of the " neighborhood" auto shop of the past. I have an older vehicle not made any more, but I've maintained it and Vern's helps me do that. Vern's is honest and reasonable.

This place is great. I needed a timing chain done on my 2008 Pontiac G5 and I was able to bring my own parts and the total for the repair came in under what they originally quoted me.

Highly recommend these folks. They've worked on my car two times and now have it running better than ever. They have all the latest in diagnostic technology and are just good, honest folks.
